Minecraft, but as a point-and-click adventure game? A lot of us were wondering why Telltale's Story Mode title first was announced. Minecraft is not known for its rich narrative. Its free-form gameplay is far from the tightly-woven and decision-driven Telltale games. Since then, we've been treated to a steady stream of trailers and screen shots that give us a glimpse of how it will all play out -- and now we have a release date too. Minecraft: Story Mode launches on October 13th with the first episode, The Order of the Stone. It will be available on PC and Mac, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PS3 and will also be available on iOS and Android. Wii U and PS Vita will follow in the near future. Retail versions will be available on October 27th Telltale is calling ita Season Pass Disc, which means you'll have instant access to the first episode as well as download codes/patches for the last four episodes that complete the entire series.
